Description:
I require an ASP Function (to be used as an include file) that I can pass and SQL statement to that will generate and XML file and email it to the notminated email address. The function should be like:
GenerateXML(sSql, sTo, sCC, sBCC, sSubject, sMsg)
Where
sSql = the SQL used to generate the recordset
sTo = the To email address(es) (could be like "address1" or "address1, address2" etc.)
sCC = all CC email address(es) (could be like "address1" or "address1, address2" etc.)
sBCC = all BCC email address(es) (could be like "address1" or "address1, address2" etc.)
sSubject = The subject line
sMsg = The message text
The XML file should be in the standard XML format for transfer between businesses.
The SQL will be run against an access database where the DSN has been sent in a config file.
EG:
Set Rs = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.RecordSet")
Rs.Open sSql, sDSN, adOpenStatic, adLockReadOnly, adCmdText
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 2000 server
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Feb 1, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
Only those bids that can meet the deadline will be accepted.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I would be happy to code this ASP function for you. I can have it ready very quickly and easily meet your deadline. I will code the function to send mail using the SMTP service.
If your web server already has email capability then you can ignore the following, since it's already take care of. Otherwise, please verify with the administrator that the SMTP service is running on your Windows 2000 server, and that the 'smart host' has been configured with the IP address of a mail server.
