Description:
Hello!
This project is not as complicate as may look like. If you see at http://www.rocklinux.org/about.html there is a complete distribuition build kit. What we would like to try is to arrange for a rock linux distribution customized as we want (e.g. only kde installed no gnome, some customized icons on the kds desktop ;)
So it should be fairly simple for an programmer & linux expert/super user. Of course we could also start from something else then rocklinux..perhaps something more user friendly and user oriented.
Deliverables:
This simple "sub-distribution" should be easy to install and run for a linux newbie-
Platform:
Pc, Linux
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jan 30, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I have extensive Linux experience and I can complete this job easily for you. I have a very complete understanding of Linux and I have built several of my own customized distributions. I can post an ISO of one such distribution if you'd like.
I realize I have a poor rating. Please also notice it was given to me by RAC, not the client. I didn't complete my first project because of a death in my family. I'm looking for a second chance.
You will not be dissapointed with my work. If my price is to high, please let me know. I am more than happy to be competitive. |
