Description:
We need a BossKey Program so while someone is "not" working at work, they can hide their activities in an instant.... when the boss walks up !
Instant and complete application hiding
Hidden applications will be completely hidden from the desktop, task bar, and even the task manager.
Custom triggers that the user can choose, such as key combinations, or mouse movement/click and key combo...
That when hit will activate the hiding..
User will then need to be able to open new windows while the boss key is activated
be it the internet or applications, Word etc... so it looks like they are working...
Once the boss is gone they will be able to hit the hot keys again and restore the pages and apps that were closed and still leave open the windows that were opened while bosskey was active.
Software will need to Hide
Any or all open browser windows
Any application such as Word, Excel, etc.
Download windows - downloads continue in the background without taking up space on your task bar!
Video Players ( Real Player, Media Player, etc. )
Audio Players ( Winamp, Media Player, etc.)
Instant Messengers such as MSN, Aol, Yahoo messenger and ICQ
Most important we will need to be able to easily re-brand this soft ware in VB6 so you will need to make this easy and provide instructions for us to be able to do this.
We also need a demo version that works for 5 days and then stops and leave something on the system so It can not just be reinstalled to work again, maybe a nag screen that will direct users to our website to purchase the software.
Also a help link so we can send users to a page on our site for user instructions, that you will also provide.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
4) Easy for us to rebrand you need to include instructions for us.

windows 98 thru XP works with all apps above and Internet Explorer, Aol, Netscape, Opera, etc...

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

Sir,
Please check the attached archive and tell me what you think. It has no limitations, but has no interface. After you launch it, press {Shift}{F2} to hide the foreground window, press {Shift}{F3} to show all the windows that was previous hidden and press {Shift}{F1} to end the application. This is not the final version; I plan to add a setup, an interface (you could suggest me an application that you like so I can develop the same interface), a help file and, if you intend to sell this software, I'll add a registration routine and I'll tell you all kind of tips and tricks that make this application harder to crack (I have all the tools that crackers use from NuMega SoftIce to W32Dasm and SmartCheck). If you want anything else, just tell me.
The application was developed with Microsoft Visual Basic v6.0 and it works under Win95/Win98/WinMe/NT4/2000/XP. Unfortunatelly, there is a small problem with NT4, 2000 and XP. In your bid description you said that you want the hidden applications to be invisible in Ctrl-Alt-Del; this is not possible under these OSes, only is you register it like services and this is not a solution. I believe the only way is to disable the 'Task Manager' button (it's safe, the button can be enabled later).
