Description:
Hello Coders!
I am doing a web/Database project. I have an
UltraSparc 5/ 270 mhz Solaris 9 with 640 Megs of memory on which I need software installed. I am flexible with payment if you want more $.
Please note! ; a CENTRAL issue with this project is I am only paying for what is remotely INSTALLED AND WORKING on MY Sun- I do NOT want to install any software- this will be your job. You will have full root access as root on my test system, I don't care if you crash it! I don't mind reinstalling the system.
I would like someone to:
1. Install/test the latest stable mySQL on the server
to run as Apache module NOT cgi
2. Install/test the Latest PostgreSQL on the server
to run as Apache module NOT cgi
3. Install/test PHPmyAdmin on the server ( the one for mysql)
4. Install/test PHPsqAdmin on the server ( the one for postgres)
5 Install a set of basic databases ( ~20) for which I have the script.
6. Set it up so I can tes access to these databases with a remote browser, without me doing any configuration of the Sun.
7; Suggest any other software, configuration, or ideas you feel might be useful for this type of server to host about 50 remote web data entry terminals across fast DSL or T1.
I will give out full root access to the programmer, it is a test machine and if you crash the system this is no problem. I've been reinstalling the system once a day anyway!
It has NO critical information or configurations on it.
Please note: While of course you are free to test on your own machines as you wish, what I specifically am paying for is INSTALLED SOFTWARE ( by you) ON MY MACHINE.
Compensation:
1. I pay the Rentacoder commission in addition to agreed upon price!
2. I am flexible and pleasant to deal with except on the subject of where the software is put ( see above requests) There is no tight deadline on this.
3. This is only about 1/8 of my project, other elements will be available for work if you wish.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
Please note: This is a request for you to remotely install on MY machine- not for a bundle of sent code.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
