Description:
Dear PHP/CGI/ASP friend,
I'm also a coder and I need some help in completing a task. Here's what I need in a nutshell:
a server-side script that when launched, logs to a POP3/IMAP server and finds all the *unread* emails sent from a specified email address (or sender name)
After finding the list of emails the script will parse all of them to find a fixed structure like:
Private ID: 77N7-20E02 First Name: John Last Name: Smith Address: Jackson Suite No 5
This structure appears only once in the email or is completely missing!
The script has to retrieve the information "77N7-20E02, John, Smith, Address" and POST it (using sockets) to another script that will add the info to a database. I don't need the script that will add the info to the database or process it in any other way!
The script needs to be very easy to customize so it can efortlessly be used to get data from different but similar structures in the emails (the structures will not be very different, but at one time in the future it will be necessary to add more/less info to the database...)
In order to do the customization/configuration the script will use a plain-text file. No databases are required!
Please place your bid now if you are capable of completing this task 100%!
Thanks for your time,
Best Regards, Bogdan Ravaru

Hi, There are simple routines for this ... I can give you the codes for this within couple of hours if you want ... Or better still, I can give you the functions and tell you the way it can be done along with an example file ... Then, it will cost you $20 and not $40. Besides, I am available on my IM if you need any further support or explanation...
Best Regards, Shakti Dhar (Acumen Software).
