Description:
I need a script written in PHP or Perl for a Linux server. The script will have to read a mysql database and search a field within a table. If the field says "OPEN" it searches a secondary field for the date and matches that date to the current date. If the date is older than 48 hours, it will change the contents of the first field to "CLOSED" and the contents of a third field called "closedby" to "AUTO".
More information including specific database table and field details will be provided to the winning bidder.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in ready to run form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Source should be heavily commented to explain what everything is doing within the script. I will perform installation so complete detailed installation instructions are required.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
4) Payment will be made AFTER the script has been verified 100% fully functional.
Platform:
Linux
PHP or Perl. PHP is preferred.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
