Description:
We have an online gift shop that now needs an online customer services/orders type database/search facility.
All info is provided in CSV format, just need a nice simple online way of searching and checking our orders.

Deliverables:
We have an online gift shop that now needs an online customer services/orders type database/search facility.
When an order is placed with us, the money is debited from the account etc and all information about the order is made available to us online. We can download this information everyday in CSV format. The information includes details such as, Name, Product, Address, Price, Date of Order etc etc.
We need to create an online database for our past orders that can be accessible by our staff (we are not all in the same place) This would therefore have to be an online, password protected site within our own site or under another domain name for us.
We need the ability to add new order info every morning by uploading a CSV or Excel worksheet file to the website - with the info formatting and displaying instantly. Need to make it reasonably idiot proof!!
Need a secure front end application (I can design the graphics quickly if needed) so that the customer services staff can log in and search quickly with criteria they need.
The required fields for the database are the following (all provided in CSV format) Trans Number, Date of Order, Name, Email, Phone, Address, Postcode, Country, Item Ordered, Unit Price, Shipping Price, Goods Total.
We would then also need two extra fields created with each order that we can fill in ourselves; these would be, Date Despatched and Comments
Our staff need to be able to search on the above field criteria; i.e. search on name would bring everyone up with that name and provide a list - we can then click on the person we require and have a page displayed about their order - with the date despatched box and comments box etc.
Also need to be searchable on products. i.e. if i typed in a product name then a list of all the people that have purchased this product will be displayed (including all field criteria above) Then need the ability to download any of these results in CSV format so that we can edit in Excel and create a mailing list for example of everyone that has purchased one specific product.
Also need to be searchable by date.
When an order is despatched from our Warehouse we need the staff there to be able to log into the system, type in the transaction reference number and have that order displayed - the staff can then enter the date into the "Date Despatched" box so that we have a record of when the item went out. Need to be able to search by date / product type as well so that we can update despatch on all products. Also once the item despatched field has been updated with a date then an automated email is sent to the customer to say so; just something simple such as; Dear <name>; your recent order of has been despatched etc etc
Once a product has been despatched it would show so on the system. We then need button etc that we can click on to show orders that are still outstnading for despatch and display a list of them - so that we can chase them up.
Need comment box on each order so that staff can add any external information regarding the order/customer etc.
Need this delivered as soon as possible - i.e. within 48 - 72 hours!!!!!!!!!!

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
Must be completed by 17th Decemeber at latest
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
