Description:
I would like to have a program developed that allows a user to create and store a formatted text document and then send it to contacts in a database via Email. I have attached two URLs for products that do what I need for the publicity industry (sending press releases).

A free demo of either may be downloaded if the specs are not enough.

I do not wish to compete with these products. I am in a different industry.

I would like the user to be able to select a single or multiple group (like an address book) and manage their contact however they want.

I would also like the database component to be simple and stand-alone. In can run from a text document that can be updated with new data.

Also. I would like this be written in Visual Basic.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

The application will be coded in Visual Basic and provide all the features of pressblaster

I can provide multiple customized templates( somewhat like outlook express stationary. Pressblaster doesn't have this feature) for the email that you can choose while sending the mail.
