Description:
Note: the program design/options described below are not absolute if you have better or timesaving ideas.
I need a program that encrypts/decrypts files:
1) user selects a file to encrypt
2) user enters a password
3) user selects "Overwrite Existing" or "Select new location"
4) file is encrypted using a randomizing scheme that incorporates the password characters
5) file is saved in location based on #3
6) user is able to decrypt files by selecting file, entering password, and selecting save location.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 98, ME, 2K, XP
Special Conditions / Other:
Must be completed within 14 days of bid acceptance.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Hi,
Attached is a program of mine that will encrypt/decrypt any type of file using password keys. It can use several industry standard encryption methods.
The program is distributed as freeware. I can provide a customized version for you if you like, or reduce the encryption methods to one of your own.
You can use this program as you like - its a couple of years old and needs updating, but works well.
I could produce similar for you if required $30.
