Description:
Visual Basic Procedure for Microsoft Access 2000.
List Box that lists dates 4 weeks prior to and 4 weeks after todays date in one week increments (This part of the code is attached).
I don't know how to compare non-table/query data to table data using Visual Basic. In fact, I dont know much about Visual Basic.
Deliverables: Revised Explanation.
The attached database contains a list box not bound to any Table/Query. It simply lists the dates for 4 Fridays previous to the current date and 4 Fridays after the current date. I want to compare the dates in the List Box to my table (Time Sheets) and exclude dates from the list box that appear in the table. The Criteria for the lookup in the table would be the EmployeeID. Example: Today's date is 11/21/2002
List Box Results would be (as the code is now): 11/01/2002 11/08/2002 11/15/2002 11/22/2002 11/29/2002 12/06/2002 12/13/2002 12/20/2002
For a record with an EmployeeID of 1 in the "Time Sheets" tablethe following records may already exist:
WeekEnding 11/01/2002 11/08/2002 11/15/2002
List Box Results should be (the code I am looking for): 11/22/2002 11/29/2002 12/06/2002 12/13/2002 12/20/2002
I would like those 3 dates (WeekEnding) to not appear in the List Box.Somehow the dates in my existing code would have to be compared to the data in the "Time Sheets" table based on the EmployeeID which will be used on a form.

Hello,
I attached the file with your problem solved.
The combo box has now the row source type 'Value List' and the values are built on the fly when you enter an employee number.
Hope you accept my bid.
Best regards,
Daniel Vlas
