Description:
We're coming out with an anti-spam product that we'd like to hook directly into mail clients so that our service is activated when users check their mail.
I've seen this done with antivirus and other antispam products where instead of putting your pop server information into Outlook, you give it to the service provider and put the service provider's server login information into Outlook.
So, when you click "Send/Receive" you're logged into your account on the service provider's server, they do their service, and pass your mail back to Outlook.
We already have all the antispam code written. What we need now is the ability to have users log into our system via a pop login and the ability to hand their email messages back to the pop client.
We work in PHP so, ideally, the code would be written in it but it doesn't have to be so long the code can call a PHP program and receive data back from it.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Apache, Redhat 7.2, PHP, mySQL

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
