Description:
We are needing a program that consultants can download that will allow them to automaticaly be notified of a new project. I need the following
1. Sits in the system tray and detects net connection
2. On connection detection it queries a web page at frequent intervals and
finds out if a new project is available or not
3. If no connection it shows a graphic , If connection is available it
shows another graphic, If new project is available it will show a blinking
graphic.
4. On clicking on the blinking graphic the URL for the project shall be
opened.
5.Small file size.
Aesthetically appealing GUI
and coded to industrial standards.
6.User can select sound
file for alert( example the user may want to play his favourite tune
instead of the default sound).
7. I want to be able to maybe be able to ad different banners in the GUI (This not a must but would like this feature.
8 I need to know how long it will take for you to complete the project and also beaware our website is on a linux server so ASP is not supported.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Needs to work On Linux and window platforms
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

Hello,
Having extensive Delphi, PHP and Linux programming experience, the application you require can be created without any problem. Please check my resume for additional work background.
The language in which your program shall be coded is Delphi, which gives you a small executable without the need of any external libraries. I have already coded parts of your application for different past projects, so integrating them and customizing to your needs shall be done in the shortest possible timeframe.
Daily updates shall be provided of both source code and compiled executable for your review. This always comes as a default option for all of my customers, except when otherwise desired.
If at this stage of the auction you have any comments, please don&'t hesitate to point them out. I will be more than happy to clear any issues that may arise.
Included in the bid amount is one-month bug support and small enhancements, if the need for such shall arise, without any additional cost from your side. I may be a little more expensive than other coders you may encounter, however am confident that you will receive a product that will closely match your specs and of excellent quality. However, if bid amount is the only issue, and the specified amount is more than what you have available for this project, please don&'t hesitate to specify a desired amount and I&'m sure we can work something out.
