Description:
This is a personal project based on redoing / modifiying an existing website I have created as a first attempt at a dynamic website.
A skeleton database and website is available for modifications to.
Also the url can be visited at www.softwarewise.co.uk
The site is fictious as Im just trying to learn how to create websites at the moment.
What is required on each page will be given along with exisitng website and database.
An Interface for the site using flash, javascript, java etc will also be required.
The database will need modifiying and adding to as at the moment it is just three tables.
The asp code on the website also does not work (it does not put records in the database)
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done with full comments on how code works, what it does.
2) Portable; able to run on Netscape, Explorer and Opera with no errors.
3) Complete ownership copyrights to all work purchased.
4) detailed designs given

Database to be Microsoft Access 2000 as only database software I have.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

I saw your skeleton website.
I master DHTML(HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ASP.
To show you that I know what I am doing I am going to give you one suggestion:
your menu can be written in a file (a file called *.inc)
and from there can be imported using ASP into all the site's pages.Also the style sheet must be put in a different file, and the scripts too. Makes the code more readable especially because you will have to use a lot of JavaScript.
The ASP part i haven't seen it so I can't tell you anything about it. |
