Description:
The application should open a specified word document that would look something like this:
Dear <Company Name>,
blah blah blah
It should then replace the <Company Name> with a mailmerge field. It should then open a specific access database that contains a list of company names, and execute a mailmerge.
Upon Completion it should split the mail merge document into indivdual files. The word macro attached shows the code I have been using for this and can easily be ported in, or improved upon.
I know that some of this can be done by hand and the other part managed by word, but this code is intended to be run across several documents in a serial manner, so it should involve no human intervention. Speed is the issue here!
I have included a sample database, word file and output directory with what I expect to see in it at the end of file execution.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Well writen code that can be easily expanded to include additional fields.
Platform:
Windows XP, with Word XP, Should be written in C#, VB.net, C++
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Nov 1, 2002 EDT
