Answer the following question for Case study 3: Plant Power: the financial planning expert system
1. what is financial design's strategy? What are the firm's strengths and weakness? How does planpower fit in?
2. analyze the financial planning process at financial designs before and after the use of planpower. What is different?
3. Does planpower add value for financial designs? If so, how? If not, why?
4. who are the likey customers for planpower? Why? Where does the planpower fit in?
5. you have just inherited $450,000 from a distant relative. What would you feel more comfortable with, a financial plan using planpower or a financial plan written by the financial decision staff?
6. what are some of the current applications of expert system? Identify two expert systems that have affected members of your group, two others that you would like to see developed, and why?
7. who should develop policies and enforce standards governing the development and use of expert systems? at what point shoud local, state, and the federal government become involved, if at all?
