Description:
I currenly have a site setup to allow people to donload ringers and images into their Sprint 3G phone. However, it is a pain to code everything for each ringer I add. So, I'm looking for a way to make it easier.
To add a file I need to...
1)upload the content file to a directory
2) make a gcd file (see below)
3) add link to gcd file on page
I currently have a section for ringer and images. I'd also like to sub-catagorize them, so they are eay to find.
The site is all text based so I don't need graphics or anything.
Here is how the gcd file is made.

Downloading ringers and images are very similar to downloading content such as Java applications to your Vision enabled handsets. In both instances a descriptor file is downloaded first which contains important information about the content to be downloaded.
Here is an example of a descriptor file with all the required attributes:
- Content-Type: image/png
- Content-Name: MyImage
- Content-Version: 1.0
- Content-Vendor: Hung Le
- Content-URL: http://domain/directory/file_name.png
- Content-Size: 64000
This file NEEDS to be named with the extension .gcd. In order to download from your web server, you MUST add text/x-pcs-gcd to your MIME-type configuration file.
The following MIME types are supported on all PCS Vision devices:
a. Audio:
- MIDI (audio/midi)
- 13k QCELP Voice clips (audio/vnd.qcelp)
- CMX 2.0 or higher (application/x-pmd)
b. Images:
- PNG (image/png)
- JPEG (image/jpeg)
- WBMP (image/vnd.wap.wbmp)

I do need this ASAP, hopefully by October 2nd or 3rd.
I don't think this would be hard to do, but it's beyond my ability.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Oct 6, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
Need ASAP.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I can do this for you right away.
I will provide you with a PHP script that will allow you to upload the ringers as well as images onto your webserver.
Followed by this the script will auto-generate the gcd file with the necessary data, and add a link to it on the page of your choice.
