Description:
I have a commercial DLL that was written in DELPHI. According to the author, it should work with any language that can call a DLL. I am not DLL literate and the DLL does not come with sufficient instructions.
I have not been able to make it work in VB or Access97(Error="Bad DLL Calling Convention"). This obviously means that there is something wrong with my Declaration statement.
The right DLL coder could fix this in 20 minutes(Or less).
The DLL can be downloade as part of a 30 day trial from WinterParksoftware.com. In the downlaod area it is the only file to download.
Deliverables:
1. A working program in VB6 that uses each function. 2. A working MDB in Access97 that uses at least one function (Preferably the address standardization function). The next item is optional, but will add to the attractiveness of your bid 3. A working program in C language with the C Header file and declaration statements for any two functions. Same preference as above.
Please specify when it can be finished.
John

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 98/XP/2K
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:

Hello,
My name is Richard Ryerson. I am a Senior Developer / Systems Analyst with over 7 years experience developing custom solutions.
I became interested in your dilema because I never knew about this service pertaining with the US Postal Service.
At any rate, I looked into your Visual Basic problem and have it figured out. I have written a small VB application that initializes just fine.
I am prepared to deliver you the following 24 hours after I receive confirmation of you accepting the bid.
1. Complete VB Module containing all declarations, constants and custom data types defined by the WSFetch.dll. Also, a working application demonstrating all functions AVAILABLE to the evaluation version of the DLL.
2. Complete Access 97 Code module containing all declarations, constants, and custom data types defined by the WSFetch.dll. Also, a demonstration Form demonstrating the Address Standardization funtionality and City State Functionality. (If available to the evaluation edition of the DLL)
3. Time Permitting, I will write code in Visual C++ to encapsulate all the functions, constants, data types and demonstrate the items listed in line 2. But this is time permitting.
I am really excited and hope that we may be able to start a grand professional relationship.
Best regards,
Richard Ryerson |
