Description:
Title: AUTO RENTAL MANAGEMENT PROJECT
Target date: Two weeks from assignment
Project is now urgent due to inability to deliver by first assigned Coder.
Synopsis:
THE CODER
The project is a simple one for an experienced commercial application Coder with prior experience in programs of similar nature, Motel Management, Hire Companies, but ideally with this type of exact project, due to time constraints.
An example program in Access is available to view for basics. It is not copyright to the Client so may not be rebuilt.
It is not necessary that the program be in Access - in fact, preferably not.
OVERVIEW:
A small, growing Auto Rental Company in Australia, anticipating Branch activities in the future and requiring Internet database capability via MySQL.
A 3 level security/presentation system is envisaged:
1: Sales Staff
2: Administration Staff
3: "Sysop" Level
The company buys and sells vehicles for its fleet, hires them out to the public.
The program must run on Windows 98 and XP Platform.
More detail is available in the attachment and the example program may be downloaded from our Site by arrangement.
Professional highly experienced Business Analysis support is available in support of Coder in matters of front-end construction (presentation and user friendliness/effectiveness).
Good report capability is expected and export ability to Spreadsheets for further analysis.
Invoice printing ability with simple export to Accounting Package.
Ability to view samples of prior *similar* work will be highly regarded.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Your project is a typical database application development task with the standard input forms and protocols.
