Description:
We are a very small company (4 people) that makes equipment for people who are quadriplegic (www.quadriplegia.com). We are developing a CD that contains reference information for people who are quadriplegic. As a part of the reference information, we have developed a Microsoft Access database of
companies and products for people with disabilities, since newly injured people and their families usually have no idea of the kinds of products and services available for people with severe disabilities or how to find them.
We want people to be able to access this data base from the CD. We would like to have four windows (1) product category (e.g. physical therapy equipment) (2) specific products ( e.g.therapy balls, upper body resistance systems etc. ), (3) list of manufacturers (Abc Inc., DBE Inc. etc.) and (4) specific information about each manufacturer (www.companyweb.com. 1234 Street, San Diego, CA, 91901,
800-466-5478 etc.)
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

I am disabled and have a cousin who is a parapalegic so I have a special interest in this project.
If you like I can make this so the program simply runs from the CD without requiring an installation to your client's computer system.
If you require an installation, that is not a problem.
I can set it up so it will install and give the user the choice of accessing the database from the CD or copying it locally to increase performance. |
