Description:
I need to enter text into a database that records the author, keywords, date, text extraction, note and source of a book or article. Data entry must be either from the keyboard or pen type scanner. One entered the database must be searchable on any of the fields to find the text string and display that record. A graphic calendar would be used to enter date information.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Windows 9x to XP
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

I have already done the work with a basic GUI using access and Visual Basic. I can update the database backing to SQL server if needed even.
I have given you a sample with limited funcionality, but can complete the rest of the project with practically any GUI within 1/2 an hour. since this would also be my first succesful bid, i am willing to do it for $10.
the final program will include complete error handling (not included in sample) and the search function you asked for. The GUI will also be made better to suit your specific needs. |
