Description:
I have a field, "Policy Number". The format is IFP-"ST"-"01"- XXXXX . It will ALWAYS begin with "IFP", "ST" is the state abbrv for which state the policy is in, "01" is the code for the number that state was on the list as they write polices in each new state, followed by a 5 digit autogenerated number begining with "801" so you end up with IFP-TX-00801 for record #1 or each new state... so all they should have to input at policy number is "801" but the entire text&number would need to be saved for use on reports. There is a field on the form for "KEYWORD LOOKUP" and as long as that field is the same it should be the same number no mater how many records he has. if for some reason a record should be a seperate policy, they change the keyword lookup. This procedure works with the exception of if a policy holder has more that one location it wants to give the new location the next available number rather than the number he already has. It should be simple... If keyword lookup is the same, give the number he already has if keyword lookup is different, assign the next available number (which works actually) Just cant figure it out

Hi
I'd be happy to help. I would need to see the code you are currently using though (you can send it to me after accepting the bid).
I know you've had issues with this app before, so I would offer to work with you until it is completely finished and working the way it's supposed to.
Thanks,
