Description:
MORE DETAILS: There will be a user and an admin panel. User should be able to sign-up (if a new user) or login. Then the user should be able to look at his/her account, add a new credit card, change the existing one, change or update his/her email address, mailing address or password. As an admin, I should be able to look at this information, and accept/decline the transaction. The current hosting co. supports Access database. The old one didn't. But we're not using the old database anyway. I will be available in the CHAT ROOM AT 12:00pm Central Time (USA) if you have questions. ANOTHER UPDATE: THE SITE'S INTERFACE LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE THIS : http://www.vvcreative.com/index_vvc.html ***UPDATE****ANSWERS TO ALL BIDDERS: SINCE WE CHANGED THE HOSTING COMPANY, THE EXISTING ASP CODE IS NOT WORKING. BUT THAT'S OKAY, BECAUSE WE DIDN'T LIKE THE LOOK AND FEEL OF THE SITE ANYWAY. SO YOU CAN RE-USE THE SCRIPTS OR WRITE YOUR OWN. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE IN ASP EITHER. OUR CURRENT HOSTING COMPANY IS GENERAL HOSTING DOT COM. THE SITE IS SEMI FUNCTIONAL ON THE OLD SERVERS, BUT IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO SEE WHAT IT WAS LIKE. We're re-building our site. You will need to work with our designer on this project. She has already made the site's interface. You will need to use the current script or re-write a script that will be used for our database. These will include member log-on, member sign-up, order placement, etc. There's no shopping cart involved, because this isn't an e-commerce site. It's a payment portal. The site is currently written in ASP code. WE HAVE CHANGED OUR HOSTING COMPANY. If you think you can use the same code and transfer the code to the new hosting company, that's great. If not, you will need to write your own code. More details will be given once you accept the bid. IF YOU'RE A NEWBIE, PLS DON'T BID. If you think you can do it go ahead. We don't have too much time. So I need the work to be completed in a week the most.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
I want the coder to work with our current designer in a timely manner.
Platform:
Windows/Mac
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Sep 3, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
The coder will be constantly in touch with me, and my designer through email, MSN messenger, etc. We have a little time to get this done. So if you're not sure you can do it, DON'T BID.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Is the new host a Windows host? That is, does your new hosting package support ASP? If do I can do this very quickly for you. I have no problem remaining in constant contact via MSN messenger or email, as I am online almost 24 hours a day anyway. |
