Description:
Simple Editor prototype in Delphi 5.
The purpose of this project is to develop a prototype of a single user editor which stores all user documents in a DBISAM database.
The attached document describes the user interface, the core functionality of the editor (not much), the database files that will support this functionality and the use cases that must be covered. The final section identifies the deliverables that make up this project.
The prime purpose of this prototype is to focus on the navigational aspects of document creation, selection and ordering via the Navigation panel and its associated context menu. The editor functionality will be limited to the default interface and functionality.

I have attached a screen shot of a very similar application I did last year. The example program actually has more features than you are requesting at this time, though some of them (such as rich text formatting support) you may be planning to add. The example program used the freeware MemTable database; no doubt the more developer-friendly DBIsam product (I presently have the trial version installed) will save a lot of time.
Naturally I would code your project from the ground up, but my previous experience with this type of program will speed up development considerably. For this reason I have based my bid on 4 hours at $35/hr for your initial prototype.
I have over 25 years professional programming experience and have been coding in Delphi since Version 1 was released.
I can deliver working code withing 5 working days of receiving bid acceptance.
