Description:
A PHP solution is required to allow users to log in to access a MySQL database (exported from Microsoft Access 2000) and provide search and edit capabilities. Specific requirements can be found in the attached files.
A User table (and possibly others) will need to be defined. Access to the MySQL database will be given; existing table structures are provided in table_structures.txt.
The nine records and Contact tables are generated automatically from spreadsheets using Access each time the database is updated. The User table will be maintained separately; when a user registers, a login, password and access level will be created for them.
I'm open to any suggestions as to how certain aspects might be better handled, however the main database (offline) will still need to be maintained separately (at least for the time being). I will likely want in future to add additional editable fields, so that might be sensible mentioning at the outset.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working code and copyrights to all work purchased. Consistent quality of layout is essential.
Platform:
PHP 4.1.2 with templates. HTML and JavaScript compatible with all 4.x+ versions of Netscape and MSIE; 3.x+ in Netscape if possible.

The solution will be an extension of the existing personal, non-commercial site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ausbdm/ and as such is a personal project. Experienced, serious and reasonable bidders will be considered; exorbitant and one line bids will be ignored. The ability to communicate clearly and promptly is paramount.
