Description:
Create a form in the attached Microsoft Access 97 database that will allow for input of information that can be printed in the top half of the report “SHOP JOBSHEET” and much additional functionality. Also create a table that will store our inventory.
Currently, the report “SHOP JOBSHEET” is normally printed from a command button that appears in the footer of the form “frmLabJob”. As you can see upon examination for the report, “SHOP JOBSHEET” currently pulls some information from the table “SERVOHYDRAULICS” via the query “SHOP JOBSHEET”, but the vast majority of the report is merely labels and lines where under our current procedures the information is hand-written and the hard-copy filed when completed.
The report “SHOP JOBSHEET” can be used as guidance as to how we would like the information on both the input form and the resulting report to be displayed. However, we have flexibility. In other words, do not worry that the form and report look precisely like the current “SHOP JOBSHEET” report, but rather, use it as a guideline as to what information we want displayed and the arrangement of that information.
The newly created form must allow for the user to assign part numbers and quantities from our inventory list to a particular job. Jobs are delineated by having unique job numbers, which also serves as the index for the table “SERVOHYDRAULICS”, being stored in the field “JOB #”. The inventory is currently stored in the attached Excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet is being exported from our accounting software package, Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics, and contains all of the fields that Dynamics 5.5 readily exports. I anticipate that you will only need a few of the fields from the Excel spreadsheet, but made all of them available to you, so that you can determine which ones you wish to use.
For additonal descriptions see the Word document in the attached zip file.

Dear Sir,
We have extensive exposure to programming in Access. We have studied your requirements and are ready to do the job for you.
We will create a new table Parts which will be child table of SERVOHYDRAULICS to contain information for Parts Numbers, to be used in a JOB#.
Your Specs seem to be complete, however, we are still studying it.
In case of any clarifications, please feel free to contact us.
Thanking you
