Description:
I need an online inventory application. I should be able to view, edit, add and delete items from the inventory list right from the web page.
The first view should be a list of the Item Names, its location and its item type. You should be able to click on the item name to get a detailed view of the item, at which point you can then click an edit button (to get an edit form), a delete button (to delete the item) or a cancel button (to go back to the list view).
Deliverables:
I am expecting all ASP pages and an Access 2000 database with two tables. One table will be a lookup table with two fields:
lutblLocation
LocationID (AutoNumber)
Location (Text 50)
The main table will be the Inventory table:
InventoryID (Autonumber)
ItemName (text 50)
ItemType (text 50)
Description (text 255)
Manufacturer (text 50)
Model (text 50)
ModelNumber (text 50)
SerialNumber (text 50)
Location (Long)(Selection box to lutblLocation)
DatePurchased (Date)
PlacePurchased (text 50)
PurchasePrice (currency)
Notes (Memo)
The lookup table will be prepopulated so there doesnt need to be anything to add to it.
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
The application should work on IIS and Personal Web Server. It should not require a Data Source Name (DSN) so the database connection should be a DSNless connection. The database should be located in the same directory as the ASP file.
The application should work for IE 5.0+, Netscape 4.7+, and Opera 5.0+.
