Description:
This project will be a simple address book which should be able to use most standard address book features but with a few added extras. It will be able to ues a MySQL database or a Microsoft Access Database and also have import & export functionlity. It should also be multi user with basic user administration via an admin account. The field for input will be name, 3x address lines, post code, tel no, fax no, mobile no, home email, work email, dob, and also 10 customisable entry fields. This should be an exe application which should be able to create tables & databases or a mixture if needed when using either database format. This must be a Visual Basic exe complete with source code.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
1. Able to use MySQL & MS Access Database's
2. Multi-User with the ability for more than one admin user.
3. Standard address field's (name, 3 lines of address, post code, home telephone number, work telephone number, mobile telephone number, home email address, work email address and up to 10 customisable entry fields.
4. Back features. Shouls be able to back to one of the folloing a) a MySQL database, b) a MS Access database or c) a csv text file.
5. Should be able to import from any of the following 3. a) a MySQL database, b) a MS Access database or c) a csv text file.
6. In the admin features menu there should be options to add delete or modify users. The user information should be the following, username, password, access level (user or admin) and a full name. The full name will be used on the main form when logged in. There should also be options to create databases and tables if need for either MySQL and/or MS Access.
7.This must be a Visual Basic exe complete with source code.
