Description:
Web Ordering Updates for Tometa Software https://www.tometasoftware.com/orderform.asp

1. If redirected back to https://www.tometasoftware.com/orderform.asp then it should load values from an HTTP post like https://www.tometasoftware.com/ordersubmit.asp

2. Invalid Characters should be removed from text fields before insertion in the database using StripBadChars in function.asp, usage: StripBadChars( IncomingString, “._,-”) would remove invalid characters from an email address but leave the special characters "._,” in the string.

3. https://www.tometasoftware.com/ordersubmit.asp should have a Go back Buttons next to Confirm and Place Order, when the user goes back it should load the data they previously entered (see number 1)

4. If an AssignedOrderID has already been created for the session then https://www.tometasoftware.com/ordersubmit.asp should not create a new record.

5. If they move to another part of the site that is not the ordering section there needs to be some way to exit them from using HTTPS

6. Automatically generate registration code (we have the visual basic for this) and send our standard registration email to the customer and a cc to us. (Only for orders that do not need to be verified first)

7. Insure compatibility with Netscape and IE 4.0 and above

8. Review for security flaws such as being able to spoof the prices, etc.

9. Add ability to change products and prices on our end (we will be adding more products and need an easy way to add them to the order form) Currently Cool Info 2001 is hardcoded. Other items like the email that is sent out will also need to be changed to allow for any product. This process should be generic so we can easily add products without code modifications.

9. Thoroughly test the ordering process

I am estimating 5 hours for an experienced coder to fix these small issues.

Notes: Our account at authorize.net will need to be set to test mode so it is OK to submit transactions without worry of an actual charge appearing.

Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

Our proposed solutions to your points 1, 2, and 3 are pretty straight forward.We already have the relevant codes for this, as we have completed a similar project for http://www.firstnetbusiness.com/home.html
Point 4 is also relatively simply - we will write code to simply check the users' session variables for the AssignOrderID, and process accordingly.
Point 5 can be completed in two ways:
a) is to add the entire url to the existing menu e.g. by writing 'http://www.tometasoftware.com/clients.asp' in the menu instead of just 'clients.asp'.
b) is to create another set of menu using plain HTML or flash for the order pages.
Part 6 is OK. Just forward us your alogrithm technique (VB code), and we convert to VBSCript for ASP.
Part 7, 8 & 10 is included as part of our value added service to you.
For Part 9 , we can use either a text file for storing product details, or database( Access/MSSQL). You usage for the page would then be: https://www.tometasoftware.com/orderform.asp?product=<%productid%>.
Optional variables that can used in the querystring is 'Quantity' and anything else you desire.
It will only take us 4 hours to code your entire requirement, and we can start as soon as you are ready.
