Description:
I'm trying to figure out how to use the javascript "history" function to print out a surfer's referral history before coming to your site.
According to netscape ...
http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/communicator/jsref/wina2.htm#1018212
... it should be possible to visit a site and have javascript print out all the sites you've been to before arriving at this site. But I can't get this to work on IE or Netscape.
I want a script that does the following.
I can put it on my website and it will print out the following information.
"The last page you visited was ... x" "Before that you visitied... y" "Before that you visited ... z" Etc.
... where x, y, z are the history[-1], [-2] and [-3], etc. in the surfer's history array.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional script (javascript, vbscript, etc. okay).
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Works on IE 5.0+ and Netscape 5.0+
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
May 18, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
