Description:
I have an existing website for a friend of mine who races sprint cars. I do this as a favor to help him in his effort to gain fans, sponsorship, and just an overall professional image. The site is (www.daveely.com) and due to mass changes in the team, car, sponsors for the 2002 race season needs a significant refresh. Many of the same pages will remain with changes to text, photos, color scheme, etc. I have the site hosted at Verio who supports most popular coding techniques, languages. The person who has maintained this site for me the past 3 years has become ill and therefore here I am. I can supply Verio account info to interested party.
Deliverables:
A rough scope of work follows:(please reference www.daveely.com as reference to determine effort). I cut/pasted this from a letter to the former developer.
Colors: Your call, Dave's URC car is green with yellow lettering (yuk) and the family car is white with the lead color to be determined by the vinly guy tomorr ow BUT the traditional orange is out. He even considered changing numbers, but d ecided not to.
Title: Dave Ely Racing
Driver Bio: That's already there.
Pictures: Combo of old and new, probably a pic of each of this years two cars onthe home page and maybe small thumbnails of the old ones we have already that
can be clicked to enlarge.(See www.dannylasoski.com for sample)
Schedule: Looks like he'll race URC shows and in 410's as many time trialed events as possible. This section can be that general.
Crew: Will get names and like one group photo.
Sponsors: Dave will work on the list asap now that the car's about done.
Guestbook: Keep what's there.
News: Keep what's there and add anything new if/as it comes along. (I would supp ly in Word format for you).
Results: Not required, but i'd submit results to you in Word? format if it's not too much for you. If it's too much either tell me how to preform updates or we'll scrap it.
Links: Probably about what we already have.
Sponsor Info: Drop all the Weikert stuff, modify the 2002 plans, keep the sprintcar evolution, keep sprint car races, keep the why sponsor a sprint car.
Weekly Updates from Dave: DROP
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

I believe it's on a unix/Linux box but can confirm.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
