Description:
is there a way to change regional settings as i run a vb application in code? specifically the date to m/dd/yyyy format and without the user having to accept the change!

Let me introduce myself as an expert VB programmer.I am expert at doing advanced programming in VB using Win32 API calls. Yes, it is very much possible to changee the regional setting using API call in Visual Basic. I havee already implemented this in one of my projects.

Hi

Please find attached program developed in Visual Basic. This will successfully change your date setting to yy/mm/dd.
in Control Panel-->Regional Setting (Date tab).

Please try this out.

It is just a demo program that I have developed few minutes back.. It can be modified to suit your requirements.
