Resume:
My name is Derek Fitzpatrick, and I've been an avid programmer for about 3 years now. My first real "language" was in the world of IRC where I released "scripts" of the program mIRC. I later became a server admin for a server and from there took up role in the company GxP Software lead by Chuck Hall where I worked as their web designer. This gained me valuable HTML skills and introduced me to Visual Basic on the side. From there I have obtained a working knowledge of the program and its uses and ideas to expand upon. Projects I have completed was a calendar/journal/address book program for a company and now currently a Point Of Sales System (Work in progress) I enjoy programming to the degree that its a passion. I look forward to creating applications with you that not only appeals to the end user, but reflects a part of me in itself.
