Responsible for the design, maintenance and integration of large-scale document assembly template suite. Templates are in Microsoft Word XP, VBA and interface with a set of custom COM-Addins written in Visual Basic 6. Assist with database front-end user interface design, programming and maintenance. Integrate firm-wide custom databases with document assembly programs. Position has included upgrades to template suite from WordBasic to Word 97, from Word 97 to Word XP including complete rewrite of WordBasic code into VBA as well as the purchase of a new document assembly product (purchased from TechLaw) and the subsequent customization, integration and installation of such product. Position is an exclusively part-time telecommuting position.
February 1999 to April 2000 TECHLAW, INC. - PRODUCT MANAGER/SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER
As product manager responsibilities included analysis and research into issues surrounding legal document automation, incorporation of solutions in final product and management of the project to various junior programmers and support staff. Management responsibilities also included management of product upgrades, customer installations and customizations. As senior applications developer responsibilities included the design, programming and maintenance of nationally sold document automation package. The product is a suite of Microsoft Word templates, back-end Access or SQL database with front-end user interface designed in Visual Basic 6.0 using ADO connectivity. Extensive use of OOP in both VBA and VB and exposed class interface (COM Addin) enabling customer's to build off of class structure. This position enabled work to be done half in the office and half on a telecommuting basis.

Firm-wide information systems position responsible for troubleshooting software related problems in all offices. Integrate, customize and troubleshoot current software applications. Analysis of future software requirements. Develop custom software solutions. Custom database design. Distribute departmental work to other IS staff members. Troubleshoot minor network related issues.
