As a buyer, he is very communicative and definitely is clear on what is expected. However, when I informed him I was unable to complete his project due to a back log of work due to my vacation, his attitude changed dramatically.
As his feedback on me states, I did tell him I would have something for him by the weekend, but he neglected to mention that between the course of accepting my bid and the weekend, he had changed his initial request for the project. While certainly understandable and completely accepting of the change, I knew it would require a little more time and effort than the original quote on time.
I tried to explain to him I knew he had an urgency to this project and if I was to finish it, it would take longer than I estimated due to my build up of work. Trying to utilize any resource available, I knew the best way to get his project completed in the time frame he required was to contract a different coder. This is why I told him I was unable to complete the project.
